Carved on my last pumpkin of the season. The wonderful ~Skorne asked if I was going to do all three birds, and while I didn't plan on it at the time, I figured I might as well do a theme. So here be Articuno, the last of the three legendary birds. And not nearly as good as the first two, sadly.
I wasn't able to get as good pictures as I would have liked, but what can you do. Can you tell that the legs and the tail aren't actually attacked to the body? Oops. They were supposed to be.

I kind of wish you would redo this one. Articuno is my favourite bird and you'd done so well on the other birds. Given your talent now (since I've viewed some of your newer works as well), I'm sure it would turn out much more beautifully. (Not that it hasn't here, I just feel this isn't as well done as your other ones.)
