And here's my other bead sprite for the weekend! It's a sprite of Gold, from Pokemon Puzzle Challenge. A good game that was totally overshadowed by the much better Pokemon Puzzle League, in my opinion. I think I still have this game in a box somewhere.

I wanted to go a sprite that was somewhat complicated, but that I could still manage with the small range of colours I got from a jar of perler beads. Even then this took me awhile to come up with the right colour combination. I replaced everything but the peach at least once.

I'm not sure I've got the ironing down just yet. I think I didn't iron this one enough, but I was worried about making another pancake. I'll take any advice you've got, pro-bead spriters!

Very cute! You may have wanted to use a different color for his shorts...it looks like his pants are down XD;

Haha, I hadn't noticed xD I was mainly following the sprite, which may not have been the wisest idea...

Haha, thanks :D I think they could still use some figuring out on ironing technique though...

If this becomes a "thing," and several years from now you are an expert at beadarts and making detailed pokemon out of them, I shall look back on this post, shake my head, and chuckle in grim amusement.

Never take up a normal hobby, my friend. Never.

I'm already considering buying a bunch of beads from the UK because they have slightly different colours. I wish I had money :P
