Happy Halloween everyone! I guess it's post Halloween now, but what better time to post some Halloween Pumpkins!

My anime club held their annual Halloween party tonight, and so once again I carved them up some pumpkins! Decided at the last minute to go with something anime themed instead of the more generic Halloween stuff. A chance to show off a bit in my last year!

So I love Sailor Moon. Always have. I've been rewatching it with a friend so it's pretty fresh in my mind. I've seen this kind of silhouette design around the internet (=Singing-Kiwi did something similar here on DA) and wanted to give it a try. The pumpkin itself gave me a few unexpected snags, but I was able to make something decent of it in the short amount of carving time I had today. Seriously though, this this was green under the skin for some reason! Super weird, I've never run into that before.

Not to shabby for a quick Halloween carve, although I wish I had time to get better pictures when it was still fresh. The ankle broke during transport to the party and I don't have a lot of time for retaking pictures...

was that stable? I mean you almost completly encirceled the sailor moon carving.

It was pretty stable, since it had the ankle and head for support as well. But the ankle did end up breaking since I moved it around a lot.
