A new mew character I created on a whim. She is female, and her name is Nutmeg if you missed the title. She's named after my favorite candle, which was lit when I was inspired to create her. I haven't figured out much about her history-wise, but I think I have a definate idea of her personality in mind. She likes fire.
Just a random note I feel like rambling on about: She has a spot on her back in the shape of a flame, but you can't see it here. Only little bits of it.
I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I tried my luck with prismacolour markers again, and it didn't end up a disaster. Not a disaster not counting that the markers bled through to the next page, which annoys me. I really didn't start liking it all that much until I finished the line art. I was iffy about the sketch. And it's a record in speed for me, I think. I only started this last night. Whoohoo!
Shes so kawaii! Her name makes me hungry though. o_O Im an oddball. Anyway, a suggestion I have is to keep two sheets of paper underneath anything you color with Prismacolor markers. You can keep reusing them and not waste paper and such. Im sure you already figured that out tho'. Try using a white prisma pencil to highlight, it looks spiffy!
Thank you very much for the tip! I usually do that, but forgot in my 4 in the morning colouring madness. I realized the mistake after it had already bled through. Bah. I'll also try highlighting. I actually used it for the ears, because I coloured them too darkly. But thank you! You're like the first person not to comment to say it's cute ^-^
