And now the close up version of Espeon! I really like this one, but I'm not sure if I like it better then the Umbreon carving...

I had fun with this. The entire thing is lightly shaded in that wonderful way you can only do with watermelons. It took forever, but man does it look cool. I probably wouldn't have done it if I wasn't carving it to go along side Umbreon. It makes for wonderful contrast. I think it's one of my better carvings.

I was worried the sitting pose would be weird, but it works out very nicely as well.

Whoa, what a fantastic carving! I've been mesmerized by ALL of your Pokemon carvings as I've been looking through them - they're truly breathtaking , but this one in particular... well, clearly it holds a special fascination for me! ^_^
