how did you do the parts that aren't cut all the way through?

You basically peel the layers away. I use a dremel drill to shave it all off, but it can be done with a lot of different tools.

you're amazing, i love this so much.
it's so cool how you didn't carve the shield out entirely, so that the yellow parts are the where the light comes out the most.
and it's so clean! <3

Thanks! It wouldn't have worked as well without the shading, I'd have to add lines to keep it together and it wouldn't have been as cool.
