And now to finally finish off this years pokemon theme, I present my two crowning pumpkins of the season!

I usually like to keep things simple, one pumpkin per deviation. But I've had this pair in mind since I first saw the artwork for HGSS trickling out, and knew that they had to be carved together and presented together. I'll post them individually later, so you can get a better sense of the details.

I can't tell you how happy I am with these two. They're really special to me, in part because I did these same two pokemon 5 years ago, and can see my own improvement. It's nice to see how far I've come. And also, G/S is my favorite generation, and I can't wait for HG/SS to be out here.

Sorry if it's a little wide, I think it's worth it :pumpkin:

I hope you get the chance to carve soon! Being able to buy your own pumpkins is awesome, my carving really took off like crazy when I got a car and could go buy my own :D

Lol i have a year till i can drive with a parent, well less than that but i think ill get my first job this summer. I just thought if i can draw them, then i could possibly carve them. One of my friends showed me how to scrap away certain areas to add depth and such, so i think that would help. I just never thought of the idea to carve a watermelon o.o Thats awesome right there xD
