More bead sprites! Well there can't very well be pumpkins. I'm having pumpkin withdrawal!
This time it's some kitties from Chrono Trigger! I only played through that once, so I haven't seen all of the cool endings. But I do love the kitties from that game.
I actually finished these two a couple weeks ago, but wasn't happy with the ironing I had done on them. I redid the ironing today and they came out better. Still not too happy with my technique though...
Tell me why this just made my day! God, I remember that game. So much fun. And strangely enough, out of the entire experience, one of the only things I remembered after playing all the way through it, was the kitties! This takes me back...
Lol, I went out and bought this game for the DS just yesterday because of this. I suddenly remembered how great this game was because of your bead sprites, and so I ended up buying it. I'm glad I did too. This game is tons of fun! But man... Lavos is gonna wreck me no matter how prepared I am, lol. Thanks for the unintended inspiration!
I played it for the first time on the DS when it came out. Lavos was hard, especially when he was mimicking all the bosses and I completely forgot how to beat most of them... Glad I inspired you with my little kitty sprites!
Lol, I wonder how much fan art there is of Lavos... let-a-lone that game. It wasn't too well known unfortunately... Now I kinda feel like drawin him. The last stage anyway. I'm pretty sure drawing the first form would be repetitive due to all those scales. And yeah, I forgot some of the bosses too at that point. I don't think he was too difficult at the mouth of him...but man, once you got inside. He would smear you on the floor like a preschooler with mashed potatoes... I loaded up an old ROM save about a month ago on my computer to see how well I would fare against him since I saved at the inside. I think I completely wiped before the third turn...
I've never considered it to be a particularly unknown game, but I'm generally out of touch with that kind of thing. I feel like I knew a bunch of people who had played it. And I like loading up old Final Fantasy saves and seeing which bosses I can still kill. Last time I tried with Sephiroth, he crashed my game. And I've never been able to beat Jecht a second time, which makes me wonder how I did it the first time...
Lol, I thought everyone knew about Power Stone, but I found out later that only a handful of people knew about it... Hmm, I think I'll draw Falcon or Ryoma. SO much to draw, but I have so little time, lol. I have to say I was really happy when I found out there was an old show about it, but a little sad when I found out that the games still cost over 100 dollars each. And they're old games too...from back in the Sega Dreamcast days...
