Chocobo Light Shot by johwee Chocobo Light Shot by johwee
Since I was doing so many 'kins for Halloween, I transferred all my patterns in advance, and coated them with some finish so it wouldn't wash off come gutting time. Which worked, but it left the finished 'kins with a bunch of random blue marks. Not a problem for the versions in the dark, but they stand out on the light versions.

Wow! Nice Job! It so cute but How did you do the parts around the feet and toes and stuff?

Basically I just peel off the top layers of pumpkin skin without cutting through. I use a dremel, but you can also use other things.

I used a x-acto knife with the flat blade and it worked like a charm.

Oh yeah! X-acto knives are great, they can do pretty much everything xD I feel like I said this the other day, but if I had to pick only one tool to carve with, I'd go with the x-acto.

I'm glad, my main hope with my pumpkin carving is to inspire other people to give it a try!
