Butt in Ze Air

Good lord it's another one! There's just no end! We're all gonna die!

New mew. Not new in my head, but new to my art. His name is Tavern. At some point I thought that was a cool name, and it stuck long after I realized it's dorkiness. Anyway, Tavern is the third child of Joey and Gary in the future continuity of the notebook. He's really into battling and getting stronger, though here he's just being a bit goofy. He loves his little sister and won't let anyone hurt her, especially Avoir. I think he just likes beating up Avoir on a general basis though. Because he likes training, he's one of the stronger of the third generation mews. But enough with the bio.

I kinda did a mixed media thing, with markers as the base and pencils for the stripes. Turned out quite nicely. He matches Rayel's colouring more then Rayel does. I must remember this. Though I did mess up on his tail, it's supposed to have more stripes. Somehow that didn't happen. I was just trying to go for something different with the pose, hense the air butt. The sketch was done in November 05, so it's kinda in the middle as far as recent stuff goes. I'm kinda colouring in the order stuff is in my sketchbook. And damn it scanned well. Why can't any of my purple stuff scan this well?
